When Groundhogs Day kept on repeat itself Phil started of with a negative attitude. he punched a guy on his focus to work, he did not attend to out a silly guy, he complained and did not take his job gravely and took the disaster of knowing what would happen everyday to use hoi polloi. He as well thought that he could use up Rita, his producer to finalize in love with him by learning what she liked everyday. except because he was not being himself, rita thought that he was lying. so he suddenly gave up and just tried to help out and understand the townspeople rather than using the people. As clip went by, Phil took the opportunity to learn things about the people and place. He changed into a better man.

He knew everything that was going to happen in the town so he used to go under a tree to help a boy who was locomote out of it, he would help out a man that was choking, he also tried to save a life of an experienced man etc. Phil noticed that he was detached and disrespectful.
