According to American Diabetes Association (2015) Prediabetes is when your blood sugar levels are higher than normal but not yet hit the diabetes marker. You have a higher risk for developing type 2 diabetes. The consequences of pre-diabetes can be the same as type 2 diabetes. There is still a chance I can lower my A1C and reverse the diagnosis.
